Wildwood Siberian Husky kennels of Tok Alaska begin our breeding program in 1973 with the purchase of the Shleekai Siberians. Shleekai, an early Tok racing Kennel was established here in the 1940’s. I have continued to breed these dogs for their racing and working abilities. Tok hosts one of the three biggest sprint races in the State of Alaska and has long been on the professional racing circuit. The Shleekai Siberians set several trail records racing here in Tok beginning in the 1950’s . During the years I have been breeding them I feel I have improved both their performance in harness and their working conformation. These carefully line bred dogs have genetically unique bloodlines from early Alaska and pure Seppala lineage. These original bloodlines produce many unique and strikingly beautiful colors that are not found in modern day Siberians. Breeding these dogs for over 30 years , we now have a high percentage of leaders in our litters. I have always considered leader producing bloodlines necessary to complement the most successful racing teams. Please visit our other pages to find more about these unique dogs. Sue Brown
